1. Metric Spiral Point Taps: Thread sizes: M2 x 0.4, M 2.5 x 0.45, M3 x 0.5, M 3.5 x 0.6, M4 x 0.7, M5 x 0.8, M6 x 1.0; Threads are chamfered with plug gauge and cut with right-handed threads. The straight grooves are ground for downward chip removal, with clear threads and sharp cutting edges. 2. Material and surface treatment: 6542 (M2) high-speed steel metric taps have high speeds and can process threads quickly and efficiently. They have high hardness (HRC62-64), wear resistance and good toughness. Titanium coating improves wear resistance, hardness, heat resistance and lubricity. 3. Application: Thread taps are very suitable for through-hole thread processing. They can be used for drilling and tapping of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, alloy steel, ordinary steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. The grooves on the taps help to remove chips and debris from the hole. 4. Machine taps: Suitable for drilling machines, tapping machines, CNC machines and milling machines. Used with tapping oil, you can get higher quality threads and more durable taps. The tap tip helps guide the tap into the hole and reduces the torque required to rotate.
