Differential Hall Magnetic Encoder Module

Built on the MT6701 magnetic angle encoder IC, this module uses differential Hall sensing to measure absolute angular position over the full 0°–360° range. It detects the radial magnet’s perpendicular field component during rotation and delivers high-fidelity angle data through multiple interfaces: 14-bit digital (I²C/SSI), ABZ/UVW incremental (fully configurable), and 12-bit analog or PWM. A dedicated press-detection output responds to axial magnet displacement, enabling single-chip tactile input. Electrical specs include 3.3–5.0 V supply, −40°C to +125°C operating temperature, < ±1° typical linearity error (≤ ±1.5° over full temperature range), and 5 µs system latency. The chip integrates EEPROM (>1000 write cycles). Package contains one PCB-mounted encoder module, one matching magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
