The MT8870 DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) Voice Decoding Module is a compact, through-hole DIP-mounted board designed for reliable tone detection from telephone-line or audio-source signals. Dimensions: standard 16-pin DIP footprint (approx. 20 mm × 30 mm); weight: ~5 g; constructed with FR-4 PCB and soldered-through components. It separates incoming dual-tone signals into high- and low-frequency bands, then delivers decoded key values as 4-bit binary outputs (Q1–Q4). Includes dedicated STD (Signal Tone Detected) pin for precise timing control and real-time status indication. Integrated LED indicators provide immediate visual feedback on tone detection and decoding activity. Designed for plug-and-play integration using included male header pins — no soldering required for breadboard or prototype use.
