Non-Contact Testing Intelligently identify live, dead, or broken wiring by simply holding the tip of a non-contact voltage tester near a patch panel, receptacle, or power strip. The higher the voltage sensed or the closer the tip is to the source, the higher the beep frequency. The UT12E model provides a vibration function, while the UT12M model includes a flux sensing function. Sound and Light Alarm When voltage is detected, the tip emits a red light and a buzzing sound. When no live wire is detected, the LED screen turns green and there is no sound or a slow beep. When a live wire is detected, the screen turns red and a fast beep sounds. Multi-Function Design Indicator pen with IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating and a 2 metre drop resistance. Compact pocket size for easy carrying. Low voltage indicator and automatic shut-off after 5 minutes of inactivity. The pen includes a built in torch for working in dim environments. Auto Shut-Off and Package If there is no operation for 3 minutes and no AC voltage is detected, the pen automatically shuts off. Package includes a non-stylus, a manual, and two 1.5V AAA batteries.
