Only perform setup when the engine is warm to ensure normal idle speed. Choose a long, straight road with light traffic. The unit does not learn the same gear twice, allowing for easy on-road setup. You may pause during setup if needed. Always focus on the road and drive safely. Steps: - Turn on the ignition. The display counts down from 6 to 1, indicating memory is cleared. - When "L" flashes, keep the engine in neutral and let it idle. - When "1" appears, engage first gear, release the clutch, and maintain engine speed above idle. The display flashes faster as the device learns. - When "2" appears, shift to second gear. - Repeat until all gears are learned (up to 6). - Once programmed, the unit will display gears correctly. - On next startup, the display will count up from 1 to 6, confirming full functionality. Installation notes: Locate the connector under the fuel tank or beneath the seat. Connect the green wire to the motorcycle's crankshaft sensor wire. Refer to included photos for guidance.
