After hours full of inspiration, spent studying and reaching brilliant conclusions, you rest under a sparkling sky, admiring the wonderful complexity of the animal kingdom. Darwin's Journey is a "worker placement" game in which players relive the experiences Charles Darwin lived during his adventures in the Galapagos, when he developed his theory of evolution. Thanks to an innovative progress system, during the game each worker specializes in the discipline required for the execution of actions, such as island exploration, maritime navigation and correspondence. During the game, players collect various specimens of land and sea to facilitate subsequent scientific research. These specimens are then delivered to museums to help increase the scientific knowledge of mankind. The game lasts five rounds; during each round, players must commit to achieving short and long-term goals. At the end of the game, the one who holds the most victory points wins.
