Gsk Voltadol Thermal Heat Patches are drug-free heat patches. They are designed for the relief of muscle and back pain. They provide up to 8 hours of heat for effective pain relief throughout the day. VoltaTermic heat patches stimulate heat receptors to relieve pain, increase blood flow to relax stiff muscles, reduce muscle spasms, and aid in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to help promote healing of injured tissue. They come in a discreet, self-adhesive, odorless format. It is recommended that you open the sachet only when you are ready to use it. Remove the plastic backing and apply the patch to the painful area immediately after removing it from the sachet, placing the adhesive side on clean, dry skin. Press the patch firmly to ensure it is properly positioned. The heat patch begins to heat up after a few minutes of opening. When removing the heat patch, pull it from one corner. Do not leave the patch on the same skin area for more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period and do not use more than one heat patch per day on the same skin area. The heat patch is for topical use. Check with your doctor if after using it for a period of seven days the pain has worsened or has not changed. Each patch is valid for one use only. Do not combine it with the use of other skin medications or other heat sources. Do not try to reheat it in the oven or microwave. Do not cut the patch or get it wet. Do not wear the patch while sleeping, do not sleep with the patch on or put pressure on it during use. Heat patches can cause burns. Stop using it and check with your doctor or pharmacist if you experience any discomfort, burning, swelling, rash, or other skin changes that appear where the heat patch is applied.
