NexYZ connects your smartphone to your telescope, spotting scope, binoculars, monocular, and microscope so you can capture images and video through the eyepiece. Works with a wide range of mobile phone models, including the latest devices from major brands. Unlike other adapters, NexYZ features three directional knobs (X, Y, Z axis) that align your phone's camera with the eyepiece in seconds, allowing you to quickly capture the perfect image. NexYZ is built for durability with a metal frame and polymer body, designed to withstand rigorous field use. It fits eyepieces from 35mm to 60mm in diameter, including telescopes with 1.25-inch and 2-inch eyepieces, spotting scopes, monoculars, and binoculars. The included adapter ring allows attachment to microscopes, accommodating diameters down to 25mm, the standard size for microscope eyepieces. A strong spring and threaded twist lock provide a secure two-level grip on optical instruments, ensuring stable imaging. NexYZ accommodates a wide range of smartphones. The adjustable phone platform fits most devices, typically even with cases on. Larger "phablet" models also fit and are securely held in place. The spring-loaded clamp allows quick removal and replacement of your device in seconds. What sets NexYZ apart from other smartphone adapters is its three-axis adjustment system. While most adapters offer limited alignment in only two directions, NexYZ lets you position your phone on the platform, center it horizontally and vertically using the X and Y knobs, then adjust forward or backward along the Z-axis to capture the full field of view. This precise adjustment system is faster and easier to use than comparable adapters. From setup to shooting, the entire process takes just moments—inserting the phone, attaching the adapter to the eyepiece, opening the camera app, and centering the lens. When switching phones, eyepieces, or optical tools, only minor adjustments are needed to re-center the camera. Note: NexYZ is compatible with telescopes, spotting scopes, binoculars, monoculars, and microscopes. It is not designed for use with riflescopes. Most phone cases are compatible, but bulky cases with built-in batteries or oversized designs may require removal for optimal performance. Smartphone Adapter Instructions: For Telescopes, Binoculars, and Spotting Scopes – Squeeze the levers to open the clamps. Position them around the eyepiece and release. Tighten the safety locks. Attaching Your Phone – NexYZ works with most standard phone cases, but "rugged" style cases should be removed. Expand the sliders, place your phone on the platform with the bottom touching the rubber base, then release the sliders. Your phone is now secure and ready for photography.
