Use a microwave oven with at least 1000 watts for optimal performance. 2. Clean the glass and kiln tray. Cut kiln paper slightly larger than the glass piece and place it on the tray. 3. Arrange glass pieces on the kiln paper. Using two layers of glass is recommended. 4. Place the kiln tray into the microwave and cover with the lid. Set microwave to high power for approximately 6–8 minutes. 5. Observe the top hole; an orange glow indicates fusing temperature has been reached. 6. After heating, carefully remove the kiln using insulated gloves and allow it to cool on a heat-resistant surface for about 30 minutes. 7. Firing time may vary; initial attempts may require adjustments between 6 and 16 minutes. Precautions: - Always use kiln paper to prevent glass from sticking to the tray. Replace with new paper before each use. - Store the kiln in a dry place. Do not use if damp, as this may discolor the kiln paper. - Do not place the hot kiln on wood, plastic, or other heat-sensitive surfaces. - Avoid opening the kiln during cooling, as sudden exposure to cold air may damage the unit. - Follow all instructions carefully for safe and effective operation.
