The CoreS3 Thread BR is a Thread edge gateway kit. The core components consist of the CoreS3 controller and the Module Gateway H2 wireless module. The CoreS3 acts as the control core of the edge gateway, running user applications and the OpenThread protocol stack. The CoreS3 controller uses an ESP32-S3 SoC with 16MB of onboard Flash and 8MB of PSRAM memory. Supporting 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, it integrates a 2.0" touchscreen LCD display, camera, microphone, speaker, RTC, six-axis attitude sensor, and other peripherals. The Module Gateway H2 module incorporates the ESP32-H2-MINI-1 module, supporting IEEE 802.15.4 wireless communication. As an OpenThread Radio Coprocessor (RCP), it provides Thread packet forwarding functionality for the CoreS3 core controller.
