EU Plug Hot Wire Foam Cutting Kit

This comprehensive hot wire foam cutting kit includes: one 10.5 cm (4.1 inch) hot knife pen, one 6.7 cm (2.6 inch) bending hot knife, one 10.5 cm (4.1 inch) bow-style hot wire cutter, 10 m (32.8 ft) of replacement wire, and a rigid hard-shell storage bag. The body materials consist of engineered plastic housings and stainless steel or nickel-chrome wire elements, ensuring durability and consistent thermal transfer. Operates safely at AC220V with native EU plug support — verified for use in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Indonesia and similar 220–240V national grids. Thermal activation occurs almost instantly, allowing immediate cutting upon trigger engagement. The molten-path technique yields sharp, sealed profiles even on curved surfaces or bevelled edges — ideal for architectural models, packaging prototypes, or decorative lettering. Minimal pressure is required; gentle guidance suffices due to the wire’s self-propelling melt-through action. Compatible with common low-density foams such as EPS, EPP, foam board, KT board and pearl cotton. Used across academic design labs, maker spaces, advertising agencies producing physical mock-ups, seasonal crafters, and school STEM programmes requiring accessible, hands-on fabrication tools.
