HDMI ARC to Optical Audio Splitter

Small-footprint (10.5 × 7.5 × 2.8 cm), lightweight (180 g) audio interface with dual digital inputs (HDMI ARC, Optical/SPDIF) and four concurrent outputs (HDMI ARC, Optical/SPDIF, L/R RCA, 3.5 mm jack). ABS enclosure with ventilation slots; internally shielded to reduce interference from nearby Wi-Fi routers or UK 230V power supplies. Supports PCM sampling rates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz and full 24-bit SPDIF transmission on both channels. Powered by 5V DC micro-USB (cable supplied). Unlike passive splitters, this is an active converter with real-time decoding and reclocking — ensuring jitter reduction and stable signal delivery across all outputs. Input selection via front-panel toggle avoids reliance on CEC commands that often fail with older TVs or mixed-brand setups. Verified with UK Freeview Play certification test suites for HDMI-CEC interoperability. Deployed in diverse scenarios: driving a QLED TV’s ARC output to both a Sonos Arc and a Denon AVR simultaneously; feeding optical audio from a Nintendo Switch dock to a hi-fi system; or converting Sky Q audio to analog for accessibility devices — all without signal degradation or manual reconfiguration.
