Food supplement based on a standardized extract of Berberis aristata, red rice fermented by Monascus purpureus, milk thistle, folic acid, ubiquinone, with chromium and policosanols. Berberis aristata helps maintain normal lipoprotein levels and promotes control of plasma triglycerides. Milk thistle is useful for liver function, the body's cleansing functions, and as an antioxidant. Folate contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism. Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. It is recommended to take 1 tablet at night with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose (which provides less than 3 mg of total monacolins). Food supplements should not be considered a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. It is advisable to consult a doctor regarding the use of this product if any health problems arise. Berberine may cause occasional stomach pain or constipation.
