Pure Copper Tree Stump Killing Nails

Set contains 23 pure copper nails (3.5 in × 3.5 mm), 1 stainless steel nail (3.5 in × 3.5 mm), and 1 cobalt drill bit nail (2.7 in × 3.5 mm). Total package weight approx. 280 g. All metal components selected for durability: copper resists corrosion and enables slow ion release; stainless steel withstands repeated impact without deformation; cobalt HSS drill bit retains hardness up to 650°C and resists edge wear during repeated use in hardwoods. Functionally, copper ions disrupt lignin synthesis and mitochondrial function in living woody tissue. When inserted into drilled pilot holes around the stump base, they initiate internal decay over 4–12 weeks depending on species and moisture. The stainless nail serves both as a pilot guide and backup driving tool; the cobalt bit ensures accurate, low-friction hole preparation in oak, ash or sycamore. Best suited for homeowners managing ornamental or fruit tree stumps under 30 cm diameter in clay, loam or sandy soils. Compatible with manual hammers and standard cordless drills (with hex shank adapter). Not intended for coniferous species or deeply rooted invasive trees like Japanese knotweed.
