Rustproof Stainless Double Boiler Set

A purpose-built double boiler system comprising two nested 18/8 stainless steel pots: a 600ml upper pot and a 1600ml lower pot. Total weight: approx. 1.2 kg. External dimensions: upper pot — 14 cm diameter × 8 cm height; lower pot — 18 cm diameter × 10 cm height. Both pots feature rolled rims for drip-free pouring, seamless construction, and polished interior/exterior surfaces. The upper pot includes a silicone-wrapped side handle and a fixed silicone front hook for alignment and anti-slip security. Dual pour spouts allow ambidextrous use. Includes one versatile, heat-resistant silicone spatula with tapered edge and calibrated flexibility. Engineered for low-risk thermal transfer: water heated in the 1600ml base reaches boiling point and generates continuous steam that envelops the base and lower sidewalls of the 600ml upper pot — delivering gentle, uniform energy ideal for chocolate work (melting, seeding, tempering), dairy-based sauces (béchamel, hollandaise), infused syrups, and candle-making (soy, paraffin, coconut wax). The thicker gauge of the base pot extends usable simmer time and improves heat buffer response. All components meet UKCA marking requirements for food contact materials. Fully dishwasher-safe. No coatings, no glues, no moving parts — built for repeated use in real UK households where longevity, hygiene, and space efficiency matter most.
